With his first release as @orlandovolcano, the RBMA graduate formerly known as Orquesta dives even deeper into exploring pensive but light-hearted electronic soundscapes. His upcoming <i>Nice to Meet You</i> EP features 6 tracks that gleam and crackle, weaving in traces of ambient with more forceful productions.

Premiering here today, we have the first taste of Orlando's new work, a collaboration with guitarist Brendan William Jenkinson. "Lost Chances" immediately charms with its delicate rhythm and mystical synth progression. The track's solo-heavy second part further adds to the enchantment, creating a sense of serene levitation.

For us, the beauty about the Future is the endless possibilities it holds. In essence, it's a blank canvas waiting to be painted on. We'd love nothing more than to 'build' and 'make' a Future that's all our own. That means doing everything ourselves from scratch, bringing the hand of the artist back. So as we've been building a studio in the backyard and working on our live show, we wanted to start this new "Future Nites" series of remixes and originals with an eye on creating music for these live performances. We added a marimba to the live set, and can't wait to get some more analog gear into the studio so we can take these Future Beats to the next level.

It's been a fun ride for us putting all our heart and soul into this new project, so we hope this song takes you on an equally epic journey. As summer turns to fall, and day turns to night, we hope that you'll paint these empty canvases of endless possibilities with us. You do it by sharing and blasting music out into the world, with every action you make. It's about leaving your mark on the world. It's about leaving your Autograf. This is Future Nites.
