D20's Deep Dark Dangerous Dungeon Dubstep 420 set

I have been a DJ since the late '90s, starting off on vinyl spinning everything from 80s hip hop to super hard drum and bass and anything in between. My biggest influences have always been people like Z-Trip, Dj Shadow, and Oingo Boingo. (Even though they are not Djs, they make amazing music!) 

In the early 2000s I spun of a lot of minor shows around Austin. Nothing to major but always fun. When Austin's EDM scene got hit super hard back in the early to mid 2000s, I ended up taking a break myself due to a complete lack of the scene. It became much harder to find a show to go to, much less one to spin at. 

Here in the last 5 years I have been getting back into the scene. I got super heavy into dubstep, like a lot of people around that time, and started spinning it. Sadly I was still spinning records and finding dubstep on vinyl can be a super huge pain, as most vinyl djs might know. You can either order them online for a super high price and end up with a warped record that got shipped half way accross the world or something super scratched.I then purchased Traktor! At the time I was doing a show on a pirate radio station, Kaos Radio Austin. After about a year or so of messing with Tracktor I found that using a laptop to spin was just not for me. 

I then invested in a pair of CDJs! After that there has been no turning back to the laptop! Since then I have fallen in love with the Trap style. From there I started doing my Trapper Keeper mix series where I try to find all of my favorite trap and make a set out of it that could be spun live if needed. Since then I have also started doing two weekly podcasts, the Dusk Sessions, and the Late Night Sessions with other DJs I know. (Grimeace and Kazz of the Murder Drones, BDamage, T!bs and a few others.)
