I made this mixtape in 2005. The main purpose for making this CD was to go back to the streets that I came from and let them know their is a God that loves them.  I know it is 9 years old, but Gods message never changes and the streets never change. The question is, can you change?

We had that rubber band love…stretched hands from above
No matter how far we went…we’d go back to the way we was
Past the crack and drugs…fake plastic hugs and packaged love
She was that straight rap and I was your everyday classic thug
In the trap I bugged…flipping…looking for that right addiction
Beyond life’s friction…daily crucifixions and despite conflictions
She quieted my storm…brought the light with no restrictions
Word is born… double eyed vision…the Christ to my religion
I know I’m tripping…but the love was dripping into my system
Sparked plugged my ignition… decoded my complex encryption
Released my sexual inhibitions…her specs were the latest edition
Relaying my strangest mental decisions to written contradictions 
Stripping my suspicions…she was constantly breaking me down
I was shaking like a fiend…scrapping her essence to its compound
Silently I screamed…counting my blessing… looking for psalms crown
But just then...razorblade words bomb down…exploding every calm sound
Cutting open my soul…hacking…leaving cracks in the rubber
I become mentally detached and I stutter while blackness hovers  
Looking for my elastic lover…but she stretched way past the cover
Leaving me with whiplashed flutters…thoughts of wrist slashed sputtered
Inside I tripped…clashed and muttered…with a wish trapped in clutter
Hoping I could get back and touch her…but with a snap...it got tougher
That last crack…was unbearable…and just like that…now I suffer
No more can I love her…I had to let go...as I released the last band from the rubber
