A song I wrote about single mums. God loves you and it dont matter the mistakes you made, if you turn and trust in Jesus you can be forgiven. There are more single mums in England than in any where else in Europe, no wonder the streets are messed up. Kids need a dad around. 

I See You

D-cype is a 25 year old rapper born in London. He grew up in Stoke and is currently living in greater Manchester. He never grew up believing in God and was taught like everyone else that God was a fairytale. Growing up his dad left his mum when he was 5 an...d his mum raised him and his sister Sarah single handedly. Dave (D-cype) was a joker in school and loved getting in trouble. After trying weed when he was 11 he started to smoke it everyday at 14.His behaviour got worse and he was kicked out of 2 schools and kicked out of home by his mum, who couldnt handle him. He went deeper into the drug world and at 16 found himself in the back of a mates car smoking crack cocain. At 17 he started to sell weed and later he moved onto coke, exstacy and amphetamine. Constantly getting into trouble with the police, Dave's life was spiraling out of control. His drug abuse became worse and his anger heated. He was stabbed 3 times and his friend 4 times in a disagreement on the street, Dave then started to walk the street with a knife himself and continued selling drugs. His mum however became a Christian when he was 14 and had been praying for her son and sending him letters from Australia whre she had emigrated to. Dave would hate to get letters from her, even to the point where he would shake the envelope to see if their was money in it or not and not even bother to read the contents. She was praying though and God heard her cries. One day Dave was walking through a shopping center when a song came on and in the chorus the song said heaven. Something happened and he fell under massive conviction, he started to cry out loud in the middle of the shop and left his food and went outside. He knew at that moment that he wouldn't go to heaven if he died but hell. The life that he'd been living untill then was a life of sin. He had lived for himself and his own pleasures and desires. All he had found though was death and destruction, and an emptiness that couldnt be filled with drugs or sex. In that moment he knew that he needed Jesus, he didnt know much, just that Jesus had died on a cross and that somehow that meant he could be forgiven from his sin. He went from hating God one moment to wanting God the next, he knew that God was real. God supernaturally made him born again, the next day he went to a Christian re-hab and in there he started to read the bible, getting through the whole bible in 2 months. He fell in love with Jesus and found that the emptiness that he had before was satisfied. It wasn't money, or the high of drugs that Dave was missing all his life it was JESUS. "So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy." Romans 9:16
