Ashana, born Ashana Fennell is an Independent American Singer-Songwriter and Performing Artist. Ashana’s musical style is alternative hip hop and r&b, rap, and pop! Ashana is a Philadelphia native whom migrated to Atlanta Georgia at the tender age of 12, with the dreams of becoming a huge mainstream musical artist. Ashana’s Parents moved south as they felt like the city had great opportunities for Ashana’s future. Since moving to Atlanta, Ashana has sang and performed a plethora of shows, up to and including open mics, colleges, restaurants, and clubs. In 2018, Ashana was afforded the opportunity to be flown to Hollywood with her Mother by Atlantic Records. Ashana sang a 3-song selection in front of some of the company’s most important executives. Although, Ashana was still finding her creative niche’ as an artist, she received great feedback on what to do next in her development. Ashana forever cherishes the relationships she’s built from this encounter. In 2020, Ashana shared a live meeting with Music Mogul and Television personality Debra Atney whom displayed interests in helping with Ashana’s musical career path. Despite the covid pandemic, Ashana has been writing music heavily and enjoying what she loves! Ashana is looking forward to making music, performing, and cultivating her audience.
