I guess my first real like in electronic sound was the first prodigy album, and I got into jungle in late '93, though I didn´t like MCs back then (-and continue to think that there are few good ones around). This was a good reason for me to start DJing back in `95 with intelligent and jazzy D´n B, and many will still remember me by that sound from many semi-legal and official parties I've organized in the Rhine-Main-Neckar area in central Germany from ´96-´02. These parties also were inspired my attitude that Jungle and DnB should be underground, played in cellars and warehouses on huge soundsystems rather than in (more or less) posh venues with cocktail-bars charging 20 bucks to get in.
Around ´98 I began to collect oldeskool stuff besides turning into darkside D´n´B like Renegade Hardware or Virus. Today, I love to play everything from early 90s acid house, breakbeat, hardcore and jungle up to the intelligent style I started with.
