A Little Bad-ass Tune

I was listening to my new beat and I figured rap intro by myself would go perfectly in it. I freestyled an intro without recording it and wrote it down. This is a recorded rough draft of that freestyle. quality is bad cuz I just whipped it together, but the potential is there!

A completely different style song from anything I've done. It'll probably be trance when its finished. Took me like 2 hours just for this part because im such a perfectionist. Will add my own vocals I think and it should be pretty sweet when its done if you like the style.

This is the most complex piece of work I've composed as of yet. Took me about 15 hours total. Totally worth it, this song is pretty crazy!


The Hand in the Dark

Started working on finishing this song when I realized that the next section I made sounded way too similar to Uprising from Muse. I couldnt change it though, i liked the sound way too much, so I made it into a little something special adding the vocals of Muse's Uprising. Transcension and Uprising are pretty much the same word, it was fate!

Created everything from scratch in Massive except for the drums and FX which are from the Vengeance Sound Packs. Was a test to try to make a whole song using that plan. Took a long time! I hope it's good!

Its been a little over half a year since I started making music. I decided I'd take one of the first tunes I made, it was a simple piano melody, and remix it to see how far I've come. The original can also be found on SoundCloud. Here's the remix, much better than the original I'd say.

Remastered version of this song without the clipping and added some more noticable panning (stuff going on in individual ears when wearing headphones).

This is a work in progress. There are some parts that sound iffy to me in this that i will change up a little, but this is the general idea for the beginning. It feels like I don't know how to make it the way I want it to sound, but I'll be looking at some tutorials and definitely putting a lot of time into this one.

"It Rises" Preview

Very rough draft, unfinished, minimal song. Relaxing in the hotel, had some spare time, threw a song together with the basic instruments given to me and tried to make it as sweet as possible. Don't know if ill ever finish it, but if I ever do, the finished song will be so much better.

Wanted to do a remix of a classic, beautiful song. And this choice is definitely all of the above. This is a rough, ROUGH draft of the beginning. I feel pressure to do the original justice whenever doing a remix, so I will make sure this turns out unique, but still good.

Just got sucked into working on this for the past 2 hours, i was just messing around, using an online tutorial for house music. This wasn't meant to be shared, but it actually turned out shareable. Used FL Core for the whole thing too, didnt spend time trying to make it perfect.

Helping with the music for Eastern's Film Festival. Friend told me one song would be a piano intro, heres what i came up in advance before knowing what the hell the intro is going to look like. I can work off of here to fit the material.

The Ghosts of the Past WIP

For inspiration I used the feeling that I get on a summer run, when the sun is setting and a sea of dancing fireflies emerges all around me. My goal is for those who have not experienced this to feel how it feels through the music.

It is not finished yet, this is the first half, but I really think I nailed it.

D~J.Fantasy -02- An Aeronautical Acrobatic Adventure

Started to work on a little music tonight, just picked up my keyboard and played. This is what I got out of a couple hours. This is a work in progress.

Made this song with a great person in mind, Mike Zweigle, who passed away almost a week ago in a car accident at the far too young age of 19. I dedicate this piano loop to him.

Merry Xmas! Enjoy the Schizophrenia! Multiple personalities with voices of good & evil duking it out in your head as you contemplate which to follow. who ever guessed it'd be this much fun!

Worked on this song for a while! Probably over 5 hours in the past two nights. I like where it's at, I have a few ideas that I wanted to put in, maybe later sometime, and some polish on some of  the transitions would be good.
