Solivagant is a story of a sad, lonely and hopeless man that his heart was broken and his soul was pale. Not for an earthling love, but for a cosmic one. He was hopeless cause he was failed to find the truths. After a long term of nihility, depression and darkness, a distance ray of light blinked at him at the heart of blackness. His eyes turned open, the light brighten his soul. He found the truth on his way. The blanking curtains removed from his eyes and he realized what he wanted to know, He still lonely but he had the light in his heart. His favorite hobby is walking alone and thinking. Solivagant reflects a story behind a revenant man.

My old music project is Xerxes The Dark, a Dark Ambient project that I really love to produce in that way, but I always have a strong desire and passion to produce music in other genres and styles. MOREGO was started in 2009, in my home-studio called DIM*Studio. At the beginning, I composed some neoclassical ambient songs, then I added some electro-rock compositions. Because I was a student at the time and my income and budget was very low, I wasn’t able to upgrade my studio and record a high quality stuffs, so I released a demo EP and Album in 2011 and 2013.

After I graduated from university (MSc In Materials Engineering), I made some money and upgraded my home studio with new gears and DAWs, I improved my Mixing skills and started to produce a new album in a way I really love, Downtempo Ambient. My Inspiration for MOREGO is Life itself. I had a rough life, we were poor when I was child and we lived on downtown. But I was a true music fan. I love soundtracks and film scores. But we have no money to go to the musical institutes at the time. Since childhood I wanted to be a musician and scientist, and when I grow up, I went to reach my dreamy goals. Although I drowned deep down into depression and drugs when I was in high-school and I spent long time to find the truth of life, the meaning of being, the meaning of humanity, the beginning of life, and most importantly the meaning of God, Good and Evil…

And now I’m still fighting and trying to become a musician/producer that I really want and a good scientist. I think, despite my other musical project that focused on non-personal topics, MOREGO is a personal oriented project. I want to covert my inner feelings and thoughts into this project. And the name is taken from my real name: Mohamad Reza Govahi.

I found D.M.T. Records has a professional team, high quality production and perfect distribution. They spread true and pure vibes throughout the world. I released an album on D.M.T. Records before and I was very satisfied with the results. So I decided to release Solivagant with D.M.T. Records. The Quality, Mastering, Promotion and Distribution is just Perfect.
