Renegade Hardware is proud to announce the release of the second EP and fourth instalment in the 'From The Vaults' remix series. Dropping just a few weeks after the previous part, this latest EP continues to build excitement for the full album, scheduled for release in August 2024.

'From The Vaults' is a collection designed to celebrate and revisit the influential tracks that have shaped Renegade Hardware's legacy. This second EP offers four fresh remixes, each one breathing new life into beloved classics and showcasing the label's innovative spirit.

The EP kicks off with Mistic's remix of Absolute Zero & Subphonics’ - ‘The Code’, bringing a dynamic and modern twist to the original. Next up, Philth delivers a deep and rolling interpretation of Konflict’s ‘Roadblock’ that will resonate with both long-time followers and new listeners. Long-standing Hardware veteran Gremlinz takes the reins for the third track, offering a bold and inventive rendition of Ink’s ‘B-Boy Convention’. The EP concludes with the return of NC-17 to the series with his remix of Usual Suspects’ ‘ED 209’, providing a heavy perspective and closing the release on a high note.

With the complete album release scheduled for release in August, and the label fast approaching its 3rd decade, Renegade Hardware continues to be a key player in the drum and bass community, known for its commitment to quality and its influence on the genre.

Rift makes a powerful return on Dispatch Limited with the Black & Gold EP, a five-track collection that marks a fresh chapter in his sound. After stepping back from production to reset his creative direction, Rift channels a rawer approach, drawing on the influence of early 2000s drum & bass while weaving in the tense, atmospheric qualities of cinematic scores. The result is an EP that feels both stripped-back and expansive, balancing heavy pressure with eerie, suspenseful sound design.

The project is also shaped by visual art. The title track, “Black & Gold,” was the first piece written for the EP, sparked by inspiration from Bill Elis’ artwork. The visual tone of his work set the foundation not only for the track itself but also for the identity of the full release.

Across the EP, Rift explores themes of unease and intensity. From the brooding atmospheres of “Teardrops” and “Paralysed” to the rolling momentum of “Tremors” and “Sinners,” the journey culminates in the title track’s stark and cinematic presence. Each cut feels deliberately crafted, reflecting both a reverence for drum & bass history and a forward-focused creative vision.

The Black & Gold EP has already gained strong support across the scene, with Philth playing a central role in championing the tracks both in sets and during the production process. Additional support has come from Enta and Cause4Concern, underlining the impact of Rift’s return.

Renegade Hardware are proud to present the Reanimation EP, featuring four remixes of previous Hardware standards by some of the hottest names in the game right now. Original tracks by Usual Suspects, Optiv & BTK, Maztek and Future Cut are reimagined by InsideInfo, Maztek, Optiv & BTK and Verb respectively.

The InsideInfo remix of Usual Suspects’ Killa Bees leads things off, with its recognisable apocalyptic opening and signature vocal sample. As the beat drops in, the world as you know it will stop, replaced by a pulsing, addictive soundscape. InsideInfo adds his usual rolling, headnodding beats, and squelching, claustrophobic basslines. You’ll be surrounded by Killer Bees, and won’t be able to get away.
