A native islander, hailing from The Commonwealth of Dominica, this Créole beauty now resides in Washington, D.C.

Dàna Drigo, more fondly known as “LaDàna,” is a versatile and talented publicist, producer, TV host, philanthropist and actress. She has recently launched her online TV series, Officially LaDàna TV, where she produces and hosts features on culture, lifestyle, and entertainment.

LaDàna is a publicist by trade and an executive producer by passion. LaDàna creates integrated strategies to promote brand evolution and media endorsement. Her strong and persuasive interpersonal skills serve her well in her role as the Founder/CEO at Above Prestige Public Relations. LaDàna is a resourceful leader adept at implementing high-profile and image-based marketing programs within the consumer lifestyle industry: both public and private.

She has secured much needed press exposure for the Concert for Ebola Relief at The Fillmore Silver Spring, which was a benefit concert featured by WJLA’s TV station (ABC News 7, Washington, DC). Proceeds generated from this concert benefited Doctors Without Borders and the International Medical Corps and were used to treat West Africans affected by the deadly Ebola virus.

LaDàna also provides invaluable service for the Embassy of The Commonwealth of Dominica to a wide cross section of the Washington, DC; Delaware, Virginia and Maryland areas. This included hosting an introduction of her island’s national costume for the ThingsToDoDC.com Dominican Embassy Tour at the private residence of the Honorable Ambassador Hubert J. Charles.

Her international public relations firm, Above Prestige PR, was a featured sponsor for the Kitchen Cray Website Launch Party. LaDàna was the Red Carpet Host for this event, where celebs and notable public figures, such as Tony Lewis Jr., attended in support of celebrity chef, JR Robinson.
