One of the most influencial modern Japanese writers, Natsume Soseki’s literary career started in 1903, with a series of haiku and renga published on various literary magazines. Between 1900 and 1903 he studied at the UCL in London, but this proved to be quite a dramatic experience for the young Soseki:

“The two years I spent in London were the most unpleasant years in my life. Among English gentlemen I lived in misery, like a poor dog that had strayed among a pack of wolves.“

Despite this, when Soseki returned to Japan he exploded into prolific writing activity.

From concept to format Analog Concept is delighted to bring you the sharp, stimulating electro and techno sounds of the talented yet mysterious Ffriend. 
A lysergic cloaked story is told in the Mondayz EP; your audio travel visa will be initiated on the A side of the ride through lush permeating pads, epileptic arpeggios, and the 808 jammed program of Issa, while the title track Mondayz and its dub dipped stabs of pleasure with conga percussion is the type of electro that moves the mind and physical in addictive mysterious ways. 

Side B takes a detour to the peaks of Deep courtesy of the driving deep techno house style, charming chirps, and oceanic vibes of Dweet. In addition we have included a stripped back yet magnetically atmospheric and percussive perked remix delicacy from Command D. (@animalia-label).

“Mondayz” EP suited for home and the DJs, right on time for the future summer sun days.

Antidote — The Sound of Choosing Love Over Pride

It begins with the toll of a distant church bell — a summons for the soul to awaken.
A heart monitor pulses in the background, steady but fragile, as if measuring the thin thread between life and death.
Something unseen presses close — the parasite called pride, a sickness older than our wars, one that infects every human heart.

This is not a battle between nations, nor neighbor against neighbor.
It is the war within: the choice to feed the sickness… or to starve it.

Antidote is that choice — brought to life in sound.
A rising current of rhythm and melody that cuts through the infection, delivering the only cure strong enough to cleanse the heart: love.
Not sentiment, not shallow kindness, but real love — the kind that lays down pride, that forgives, that chooses humility even when the world chooses hate.

For me, this is not theory.
I have lived my life on this battlefield.
I am nothing special — except for the one choice I make every single day: to let the love placed inside me grow instead of rot.
To kill pride so that life can be restored.
To be, in my small human way, an antidote.

And now, this track carries that heartbeat to you.

May it remind you that you, too, can choose life over death… and that every choice to love is a cure.
