Kenneth Bager and Tolga Böyük’s original soundtrack for the 2025 horror film Lost Angels (Englebørn) gets a Music For Dreams release.

Danish producer Kenneth Bager and Turkish musician and composer Tolga Böyük (Islandman) have previously collaborated on the album East of North, conceived as a “soundtrack for a film that didn’t exist.” With Lost Angels (Englebørn), they have moved on to the real deal, delivering a vivid, smoldering sonic background for the forthcoming Danish horror film directed by Peder Pedersen.
 
The original compositions draw obvious threads to the 80’s electronic soundtracks by Vangelis, Tangerine Dream and John Carpenter, while introducing a modern experimental edge that affords the music, and by extension the film, a highly distinct sonic identity.
 
Böyük’s music with the electronic group Islandman has previously featured in a handful of Turkish films in addition to advertisements from brands such as Apple, Meta and Coca Cola.
 
The film will be released in Danish cinemas March 13th, having previously featured at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. The soundtrack will be released on February 26th on Music For Dreams.

With his four albums released over the past decade, Danish electronic artist Emil Svane Breum-Seehuusen, better known as The Swan And The Lake, has set himself apart as one of the foremost purveyors of Balearic-leaning ambient music.
 
His simplistic, yet captivating compositional loops are brought to life in soft-textured synths and gentle bass ripples, producing songs that work like magic little daydreams. Waves of bliss and nostalgia that wash over you in images of faraway landscapes and cloudless skies.
 
With his fifth album, titled Impressions, Emil dwells in the scenes of everyday life – a springtime ice cream, an evening on Tenerife, the memory of looking at the seagulls. The quiet beauty of these moments is captured in subtle melodic meditations and Emil’s own vocalizations – discreet little phrases that swim around in the soft space of the music and gradually become poetic, extending the everyday into the beyond.
 
Besides a few appearances from guitarist Jonas Krag, aka Santino Surfers, the album is written, produced and performed by Emil.

Influenced by the sound of the 80s this Danish Dj/Producer always produces his tracks for, such as he calls it 'groovy people', with a nice melodic touch, groovy basslines and catchy vocals. https://soundcloud.com/sivesgaard his sets are well received by the crowd all across Denmark and with releases on Noir and Eklektisch this isn't a surprise. With only having played in Denmark we are lucky to see this rising star perform in Amsterdam this month. Sivesgaard will play at Studio 80 on the 22nd of June at Prisma w/ 16 Bit Lolitas, Worakls, Hurbert Kirchen and much more.

With his tracks being played by many great artists such as Edu Imbernon and Maya Jane Coles he is becoming a more respected artist in time and one to keep an eye on for sure. Lately he has been working a lot with other  upcoming artists like Pete Oak and these collaboration will probably bring some new fresh tunes soon. For now you will have to do it with this fresh Mixtape by Sivesgaard.
