What a vibe in the chat this week! S/O to the LLL fam going from strength to strength! Folks fr showing up to hang and have a good time! This week I didn't have a clear map of how things were gonna unfold, but I knew I had some jamming new tracks I had saved to maybe play in hour 2. So I first started on a rolling deep vibe and moved into some soulful, funky liquid. By the time the 2nd hour came around we had some fun chat interaction happening. I raised the temp some with some stomping jump tech rollers to keep the party vibe going and then eased into a more soul tech vibe later into the set. Good times was had by all. Let it Breathe (Sw3rv3 - Mobile Unit) Liquid DnB Session

This sesh has a little bit of everything. Because of a busy work week I didn't have all that much time to hunt down a bunch of new music. I still fit a good amount in here, balanced out by some classic favorites of mine and picks from the last couple of years that maybe didn't get a lot of spins from me at the time. Things start on a soulful /jazzy liquid note into some more driving, chunky classic-style liquid about 45 minutes in. Second hour is more on a dub roller vibe mixed with some minimal tech rollers ending with some uplifting vibe stuff at the end where I kept playing a bit longer waiting to raid @doughdj's channel. Good crowd in the chat this week and happy spring vibes (at least for us in Georgia). Thanks to my LLL crew for coming through, catch you guys on the next one!

The sun is coming out and Liquid Assets is heating up for April too. 2 more hours of selected deep liquid DnB tracks from a mixture of well known and up and coming producers including FX909, Radiax, Con-Figure, Metsu, Need For Mirrors, Calibre & more. Jimmy's first release 'Follow' from the FX909 Music compilation, Liquid Base Vol.2 was also released on 7th April and a few of the tracks from that album are showcased towards the end of the mix. Big Up. 

Massive shout to the one Singing Fats, his unparalleled voice is sewn into the fabric of this mix. RIP and thanks for all the memories in the dance.

D:RC came up DJing (mostly drum'nbass) in the mid-90s while attending the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. As founding member of the local Phungus, Playtheavy and Sleuth Empire crews he found himself at the center of a burgeoning rave scene, collaborating with friends on dance music events in the Athens/Atlanta areas and beyond.

In 2004 he founded Studio:Machina, a graphic design practice geared towards the music industry. Building on his behind the scenes expertise and keen artistic instincts he's become an in-demand contributor on artistic projects in a variety of media. He's toured the US as member of the Smookie Illson bass music trio, serves as creative director for the Chicago-based Illeven:Eleven Recordings label and functions as brand/art director of several nightlife concepts. 

Behind the decks he currently heavily favors the sounds of DNB, but brief forays into breakbeat, house, UK Garage + Bass and dubstep are not uncommon. Get to know.
