As rap takes new forms with its various players and influencers, it's important to pay dues to those who've paved the way. A veteran in the Vancouver hip-hop scene, D-Rec has been holding it down for well over a decade, with a stacked resume of club nights, live show and studio album production and scratch credits. If you're fortunate to catch him on the decks, you will soon hear that he is heavily influenced by early to late 90's hip-hop, but he is extremely versatile and can flex with any genre.
