Our Free download series is geared towards unearthing under-rated artists and pushing them to a greater audience. D-Ryde with his long-time collaborator / vocalist Anthony Mills are such examples. We were simply quite astounded with their output which is for a lack of a better word, brilliant. Yet, their number of followers on their respective soundcloud pages do not reflect this at all. So here we are, with the second release by D-Ryde on our FDL series, tearing up that P-funk soul vibe with the smooth vocals of Anthony Mills. This really takes us back to that Sa-Ra period but presented with its own freshness and idiosyncrasies.
