Sidekick - Deep Fear

This year I decided to go to Burning Man for only four days as I wanted to see other places before getting there, places which were like the opposite of the dusty Playa.

Those were four really intense days!

All I know is the first time I opened the door of my RV to ride my bike to go say "hello" to the man, I saw a shooting star in the sky...

I knew it was going to be a good year, and so it was!

I want to thank everyone that made this year the best. Each single soul I met who I laughed, talked and exchanged eye contact with!

Francesca Lombardo - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2015

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

1982-ben született Szegeden.
Az elektronikus zene iránti szeretetét és a DJ-zéshez való első lépését egy műholdas csatorna (WBPM) adása csábította el 1995-ben. 
Abban az időben még igen csak a Rave és az Acid hangzások voltak  jellemzők az akkori palettára. Azonnal megtetszett neki a stílus, 
és hogy két zene mixelésével egy újabb hatást, illetve egy zenei produkciót lehet elérni. 

Kisgyerek kora óta érdekelték a műszaki berendezések, és mindig is nagy volt benne az alkotói vágy. 
Egy akkoriban kapott Freee Magazin apróhirdetéseiből kiválasztva vásárolta meg az első keverőjét és két Taya lemezjátszóját, amin elkezdődtek az első lépések a DJ-vé alakulás művészetéhez.  
Hosszas tanulást és gyakorlást követően kezdte érezni, hogy másokkal is meg kell osztania, amit tud. 

1998-ban már a szegedi Coffe Zone rezidense volt, akkor még Danny'S néven. Akkor még a Techno és a Progressive stílus volt meghatározója a szettjeinek, de később egyre inkább a Tech-es Groove-os ütemek jellemezték.  
1999-től szinte már az összes említésre méltó szegedi klubban találkozhattunk vele. 
Közben már felkérései lettek, eleinte Bács-Kiskun megye (amiket érdemes kiemelni: a híres akasztói Stadler Stadion és a keceli Club Korona), 
később már az egész ország területén és már Romániában, Ausztriában, az akkori Jugoszláviában mutatta meg tehetségét. 

2001-ben megszerezte DJ vizsgáját és egy országos mixversenyen első helyezést ért el. 
2002-ben a legendás Darkbeats partysorozat állandó szervezője/fellépője volt és ennek is köszönhetően zenélt a Strictly! Yachton.
2004-től a Deep, Funky House irányában folytatott érdeklődése végett elindított egy I Love House Music nevezetű mini sorozatot, ami kisebb klubokban volt megrendezve, és ahová csak meghívóval,
illetve ismerősök által lehetett bejutni, úgy mond egy V.I.P. társaságnak. 
Azóta is szívesen játszik Deep House szetteket, de manapság a Tech-es igen csak táncra késztető houseokkal csábítja el leginkább a közönséget.
