Glasgow's LWS has been catching the ear of tastemakers since he started making his percussive and drum-heavy bass cuts. The up-and-coming producer has already made pitstops at labels like Tdsr, Eyeangle Records and MELD, as well as launching his own Matrice Recordings which started life at the beginning of this year. Now he keeps it local again with a debut on Redstone Press, a label who have been making similar waves to the young producer. Hot on the heels of their fourth release with Henry Greenleaf, they draft in LWS for his Aerosol EP, a collection of leftfield bass tracks that range from high energy workouts to wonky chugging grooves. The second part of two additional EPs in Delsin's Eevo Lute re-issue program includes a full 45 rpm cut of the Wladimir M. classic 'Evil'. On the b-side a fresh and drum heavy interpretation of 'Planet E' by Skee Mask. With almost non of the original parts available Skee Mask turns Wladimir's vocal lines up side down and transforms it into a 140 bpm breakbeat monster. Closer of the EP is the strong and emotive 'Disappointment' track, for first time on a vinyl single.
