We are 3 weeks in and day 21 continues the journey into the DISCO19 vault once more.

“Tana” was written for my debut Transmission 2023 Poland set. Built on a deep hypnotic groove driven by African vocal textures and slow-burning melodic tension.
This was one of the core elements of the unreleased album project, which never materialized, so the track stayed locked away on my hard drive.

Today it finally comes out of hiding.

The old village of Qanat Bakish is worth visiting as it is one of the best preserved towns in Lebanon. Its ski resort is well known for the quality of its snow and it is visited by skiers of all levels who enjoy the non-crowded slopes as it is the case with most of the other resorts. The first ski lift was built in 1967, and since then the resort has been developing to host more skiers, specially with the opening of a new road between Faqra resort and Qanat Bakish.

Into The Darklands

D&Tonic is a female duo sound project that was born in 2018 out of a whim to spread a feeling that they’ve encountered countless times on the dance floor: connection. The idea (and inspiration behind the quirky name) is to combine their different musical substances into an eclectic and heartfelt solution. 

The duo is composed of Dali and Tamara; Dali runs a hospitality collective focused on consulting and creating spaces that engage and inspire. Tamara is a zoo, wildlife, aquatic, and mixed animal emergency focused veterinarian during the day and also a performance artist in her spare time.
