Was totally awesome making this... for nine months. Haha. 

Well in any case, I hope you enjoy my super yuri tastic freeform/orchestra dedication song to my League Of Legends OTP Sona and Ahri. Wow typing that out made this track seem really specific... almost like a fetish. Well it kinda is but also fuck you.

I've always considered Freeform my weakest genre to produce, but I always loved it. So I made an attempt to produce it. This song sat idle on my computer also because I felt the breakdown was too messy and unfocused. Writing orchestral Asian duets into a breakdown is surprisingly difficult.

Um I guess I don't have anything else to say about this track... oh yeah, it was a 
'commission' from fellow LOL player Yasako cus I think sometime in August 2013 she said "make me a song" and I was like "k" and plop, nine months later give birth to this. Funny how that works.

It's been a week since the Legend of Korra finale. Honestly, I still haven't gotten over it. Confirming the love between Asami and Korra was probably the single most gratifying feeling any television show has given me. For it to also be part of a series that I've held close to my heart since childhood is also a blessing.

That said, I've been deeply motivated to write a tribute song to the series, centered around Korra and Asami's romance. I spent two days formulating the style of song I wanted to write. Much of that time was spent lying on my bedroom floor, staring into the darkness thinking about Korrasami in utter disbelief. I avoided remixing the ending theme because I wanted to convey my own personal feelings rather than remake Jeremy Zuckerman's, although I admit part of the cello sections I wrote mirrored it. As a big fan of orchestra pieces in EDM, I also tried to write a super emotional breakdown using traditional sounds, complimented by the girls' heartleft exchanges.

The finale was brimming with emotion and happiness, and I hope my song portrays their first passing through the spirit portal together. Admittedly, I hope you listen to my song while reading Spirit World fanfiction. 

I also have a version of this song without any of the Korrasami speech sounds, if that's what you would prefer.

Many thanks to the Korra fandom for all of the fanart and support they provided, and a very warm thanks to IAHFY, whose stunning artworks kept me around to the very end. I hope you all enjoy.

A while ago, I came across this amazing song written by one of the fans of the Legend of Korra television show. It was dedicated to the emotional whirlpool of the protagonist and her closest friend. As soon as I heard it, I knew I had to have a crack at writing a song with the vocals!
