Before I say it..... I AM FINE.

This is a song about my personal battle with cancer.  It came out of nowhere an unterly shook my world to pieces.  It's not about the events  but more about my way of coping with it.  For any who have traveled this "Hard Road" I hope you can relate in your own way.  For those of you who haven't I hope that it is never anything  nothing more than a song about not giving up when throuws you a curve ball.  Peace to All & keep on Rockin!

This is what happens when you get carried away in Post Production.  You take a beautiful song that your wrote for your Goddaughter & turn it into a nightmare dreamscape.  It's Alice on both sides od the rabbit hole.  Anyway... I had it buried but thought I'd put it up regardless

I dedicated the month of July to writing all acoustic music.  This is song 2 of 4.   I'm currently working on a bigger production of this track but thought having a version that sounds like the way I wrote it would be intresting.

I'm way out of my element on this one butI  tried my best.  I didn't get a song idea for this months prompt until a few days ago so I'm pleased that I have at least something to show.  I love mixing Rock guitars over Hip Hop beats.  I think my idea is great but the execution has lots of room for improvement.  I'm hoping someone stumbels across this with better than skills than me to help take it to the next level

To get this song you (perhaps)need a brief history lesson.  On Frank Zappa's 1969 "Hot Rats" Lp there was a track called "Willie the Pimp".  This isn't a remake but a retelling.

What Went Wrong?

Good Intention is a song of self reflection.   It's a slow blues jam in D Major using Drop D Tuning.  The words & music developed in a spontaneous jam session late one evening when I could not fall asleep.  The words pretty much follow the ramblings in my head that night.  I've been fine tuning the production since then but really didn't want it to be too polished.  I hoped it would sound like something you may hear live one night at a blues club.
