In 2018, I was hard at work writing two EPs that would lead up to my debut album - that never ended up happening, as life became a whole lot more than I had bargained for. I was terrified to release it at the time, thinking that it paled in comparison to my previous work. These days, I wish I just did, and never stopped trusting myself - so I’ve decided to make it public, though unmixed and missing a coda. 

I guess it’s time I just forget it - that’s Chinatown, after all.

It's an old song that I made in memory of those days.

This is a common chord progression. The sound of the guitar is strong.
I was in trouble because the key was too high, but I managed to sing.
It feels like a "throat boasting tournament".
