Et voici le Temps des Fêtes! La période de l’année le plus féérique et festive. Encore cette année, nous aurons le plaisir d’entendre nos chansons et cantiques de Noël préférés qui nous rappellent tant de souvenirs. Il y aura aussi de tous  nouveaux titres et d’anciens réarrangés. C’est cette relecture d’un classique que je veux vous partager cette année avec ma collègue vocaliste et amie depuis plus de 20 ans : Marie-Christine Tremblay. Sous le nom MCDC (notre duo) nous vous ferons revivre la chanson ‘Joyeux Noël’ dans une toute autre ambiance. En effet, cette relecture sera inspirée par un beau rythme brésilien (samba lente), toute en douceur ‘jazzy’. Les voix magnifiques de Marie-Noëlle Claveau, le rythme énergique mais tout en couleur de David Simard, la très belle basse de François Moisan, la flûte en contrepoint de Cindy Tremblay et le vibrant piano de Valérie Tremblay font vivre agréablement  mon arrangement. Les tout est admirablement réalisé en studio par Martin Larose (Studio Septentrio).  Bonne écoute et… Joyeux Noël!

And here is the holiday season! The most magical and festive time of year. Again this year, we will have the pleasure of hearing our favorite Christmas songs and canticles that bring back so many memories. There will also be brand new titles and old rearranged ones. It is this rereading of a classic that I want to share with you this year, along with my vocalist colleague and friend for over 20 years: Marie-Christine Tremblay. Under the name MCDC (our duo) we will make you relive the song 'Joyeux Noël' in a completely different atmosphere. Indeed, this re-reading will be inspired by a beautiful Brazilian rhythm (slow samba), all in a ‘jazzy softness’. The magnificent voices of Marie-Noëlle Claveau, the energetic and colorful rhythm of David Simard, the very beautiful bass of François Moisan, the counterpoint flute by Cindy Tremblay and the vibrant piano by Valérie Tremblay bring my arrangement to life pleasantly. Everything is admirably created in the studio by Martin Larose (Studio Septentrio). Enjoy listening and... Merry Christmas!
