Orion is a spoken word track laid down over distorted guitar. After summarizing the last three lessons of ego, patience and love, it's now time to set up an experience of joy and letting go. Orion gets the listener ready to free themselves in the succeeding track, Ridin', by telling them to jump in their favorite ride and turn the sound up. Orion

Interstellar Love is a multidimensional love ballad, where the protagonist can't find love in this world. When he lays his head down to rest, he's taken to another place, as if in a lucid dream state. This is where he discovers the love of his life. They live lifetimes together, falling in love over and over as soulmates. Each morning upon waking up, he reaches over to hold his lover, only to find she's gone again. The lines of this deep love begin to blur, and his grasp on reality slips.

Carnal mind is another name for the ego mind. This spoken word track is a follow up from Soul Killa to summarize and move onto the next lesson, Patience. Soul Killa is the first full musical song on the album, which introduces the lesson of ego. Soul Killa is a metaphor for that ego brain. The ego is universal, we all have one in the physical world. It's here to protect us and also balance us. Complications arise when we allow this ego mind to take over the spirit mind. As with anything in this life, it's all about balance. Intro

Rumble With God is a high energy song that was inspired from a series of unfortunate events that happened with me and my car last year. One car was totaled from a person slamming into me from behind going 45mph while I was stopped. The other event, someone broke into my car while I was surfing. They stole a few thousand dollars in belongings and racked up around $50k on my credit cards. 

The lessons I learned were those of letting go of the things you can't control, and detachment from material things that don't hold as much value as once perceived. I channelled the anger into this high energy song. Hope you love it.

Rumble With God

I witnessed Flamenco in a dark cave in Granada, and the performance changed my life. I had never been so moved by music. The passion between the female dancer and the male guitarist was palpable. The pain in her voice and the plucks of his guitar strings created an environment that was felt more than understood. Everyone in the cave knew without words needing to be said. Mi Bailaora is a Flamenco love ballad inspired by my time living in Seville, Spain. This is my Flamenco love story.
