This track began as an experiment in "just go with it" mentality. I chose only loops that were tagged as "arrhythmic" and attempted to create a nice swingin' rhythm. In the end, I believe I accomplished that task but something more beautiful came to fruition in my mind.

Now, if you don't agree with this that's totally cool. Please simply enjoy the music as is and hey- thanks for listening! But if you're an animator, please at least hear me out and see if you have a similar vision.

When this song plays, I see an animation in my head. Something with the art style of old cartoons. The game Cuphead embodies the art style I'm thinking of perfectly. Something about an every day worker being told what to do, then the robots become too powerful and the worker has to do something in order to escape. I want to be as open for creative interpretation as possible, here. But there is one scene I can absolutely see already: at the very end, a detached and crumpled robot head lying in the mud. There's a dim flicker of it's red eyes as it says "become as gods" and then the screen does that cartoon-style-shrinking-circle-outro.

Well, anyways. That's what my vision for this is like. If you'd like to message me about the project, let me know. Otherwise I'll just be waiting for the right animator to come along. I think this could be a really cool piece.

This here be a techno thingy that I started and then abruptly ended because reasons.

What genre is this, even? Anyways.

Please be nice to this track. it really does mean the world to me. As I was writing it I felt a sort of emotional connection with the melody. Memories of my childhood flooded back to me, happy memories of my family before my parents got divorced. We used to go to the Columbus Zoo, the Dayton Air Museum and COSI- a really cool interactive science place. We'd always get Dippin' Dots ice cream.

Then it became more than that, y'know?

I started this awhile back, now. It started as a short 8 second loop that struck a chord with me. I slowly constructed the backing of the track by dissecting the loop and reorganizing it in many different [and complicated] ways. Then I put a pulsating bass behind it [which was an absolute nightmare to keep in time with the loop, but well worth it] and then some drums, then some synths, yadda yadda yadda then the song was done.

It's a special track to me because my girlfriend, Kat, wrote the instrumental. So... now I kind of own this song, with it being on a home-cooked beat. It's been very exciting to learn how musically talented she is! I could go on and on about her, but I'll spare you all.
