As usual, produced by the man himself using a sample, that I can't be arsed to identify, because he has no musical talent of his own.

Next up on the series, we welcome Loker. 

Fuelled by an unwavering passion for all things Drum & Bass, Loker is synonymous with high-energy sets infused with gritty, rolling basslines. For the past 5 years, he has been a driving force behind events that showcase top labels and artists, notably through his involvement with Habits Events . Additionally, Loker commanded the airwaves during a two-year tenure hosting a weekly Drum & Bass show on LDC Radio. Currently, as a resident DJ and co-manager for Drums Up North, he orchestrates monthly shows at The Old Red Bus Station in collaboration with Central Beatz. Notably, Loker has recently graced stages alongside heavyweights like DLR & Randall for the Leeds leg of the Sofa Sound tour.

Switching up the vibes on his usual style. Loker’s rolling out a mix that’s a complete mood shift from his usual sound. This mix evolves from 130 to 160 BPM blending Breaks & Jungle and a bag of other styles inbetween. Featuring tracks from the likes of Samurai Breaks, Coco Bryce, and Cheetah. Loker stepped out of his comfort zone on this one and has cooked up an hour of intricate drums and grooves for Karnage.

Journey to planet Red is a mix that I made at a turning point in my life where not only my tastes in music were expanding but also was a period of personal growth coming from the breakdown of old aspects of my life giving place for new things to be created. This mix is one to listen to in silent darkness which is the way that it was made in to be listened to to lose yourself and go into a higher space. It is called Journey to planet Red due to my spiritual linearities going straight towards the red planet (Aries in mars).

An old-school Toronto dude who grew up in the early 90s rave scene, Derek FoReeL moved to BC after high school to be a full time snowboard bum/DJ. After years of developing the ski resort party scene scratching up sounds of underground Hip-Hop, House and DnB, Derek disappeared back into the big city to grow his musical experience. Now Derek FoReeL is back on the Best Coast and has returned to his roots of Hardcore Jungle Techno intertwined with UK Garage which he has termed "Garage-Core!". A unique nu-rave yet retro vibe that feels very familiar in a way that you have never heard before.
