Swiss imprint Adam’s Bite drop their third entry on the catalogue this May, featuring four original tracks by French producer Traumer.
The Frenchman has proven himself a true force in the electronic music community, seamlessly weaving his distinct sonic designs into memorable, ageless rhythms. Traumer’s discography pledges for his dynamism: proving his versatility and mastery on labels such as Infuse, Berg Audio and his lauded Gettraum imprint. Traumer’s latest offering on newly formed label Adam’s Bite sees him join Ion Ludwig and Martinesque as he continues to develop his organic, minimal house stylings that he’s honed over the years.

Kicking things off with ‘Diplo’, which offers a lean groove as glistening synths work in unison with irresistible bassline before making way for ‘Douce’, which provides a hazy, late-night atmosphere, tripped-out fx and shuffling drums that tingle the sensations.

On the flip, ‘Prima’ provides a graceful sonic exploration fusing swaying pads, rubbery low frequencies and breezy elements before ‘Plastica’ masterfully rounds off the EP with the signature Traumer rhythms that effortlessly shimmer underneath the glitchy electronics and eerie melodies.

Traumer ‘Diplo’ EP is out via Adam’s Bite on 14th May 2021 (Vinyl) and 28th May 2021 (Digital).

The crowd felt transported by his #music, with organic and ethnic sounds, and #downtempo rhythms. A very deep and intense set for an unforgettable cruise on the lake that made people completely euphoric. From this day and his first coming in #Geneva in early November 2019 for a #KinoParty, Temo Sayin became one of the leading artist of Kino Agency. Head of the Zurich underground movement “Empathie” and resident at HIVE CLUB offiziell shows, that music doesn’t need to be hectic and cluttered to bring people into ecstasy. His open minded, organic sounds take you on an unique journey: Melancholic but not sad, sensitive but not cheesy, powerful but not crazy. @yard-one-music return to @tact-recordings late July with the four-track ‘Neuroglow’ EP, showcasing the duo’s take on hypnotic house and techno.

Over the past decade Jordan Bruce and Larry Jones aka Yard One have been etching their mark into contemporary electronic music, releasing material on the likes of Philipp Priebe’s Stólar, Tokyo’s Sound Of Vast, Cinthie’s Collective Cuts, Malin Genie’s Vigenère, Apparel Music’s Tronic sub-label, Yama Music and of course the co-founded alongside Fletcher, Tactics and Tact Recordings where they return here.

Opening the EP is ‘Munte’ a tribal tinged jam fuelled by organic drums, twitchy percussive elements, oscillating subs, airy chord sequences, dubbed out swells and arpeggio acid-laced bass flutters. ‘Dazed’ follows next and leans into the duo’s deeper side courtesy of swirling textural elements, jazzy, delayed piano lines and a heavily swung rhythm section.

‘Synapse’ follows next, exploring the pairs love for the deeper end of the Techno spectrum as billowing atmospherics, cinematic strings and sporadic bass notes ebb and flow atop a robust drum groove. ‘Orexis’ then concludes the EP, embracing a more microhouse aesthetic with a focus on intricately intertwined, shuffled percussion while breathy pads, rumbling low end pulsations and murky echoes further fuel the subtly shifting loop-led vibe.
