playing/struggling with ableton - it's not great for the way I like to record live instruments - will likely switch to Sonar or Reaper for that, then mess with Geist, Ableton, or Renoise for the rest - I figure Alex renoise files are ideal for isolation and or repeating sections if something starts to develop
