Been drifting seas lost, hoping, waiting, looking for companionship.
This compass doesn't work and the map has no directions, shit!
Captains quarter's empty, wonder which locale we're penciled in?
Sun was shining bright, there was not a wave or tide to rip,
But tides have turned, and now it's time we ought to try n' catch a grip.
But why is all the rum gone? There's approximately not a drip!

Oi could I ask a question of which you've got the answers for?
What was it we sailed all across these open waters towards?
The longer with the madness rather makes the darkened night's a bore.
We're On our maiden voyage, and our ship rests on the ocean floor.
The captain promised pleasures, and There's yet to be a single score.
We were warned of danger, but we really didn't buy the lore.
In terms of death to treasure, it surely wasn't less to more.
Polly wanna cracker, but instead she heard a kraken's roar.

Wait a sec, the moon's revealed some other cryptic markings here.
Yes X Marks the spot but it says that's where we came from, weird.
The rest is pretty vague and there is not a focal landmark near,
There's a letter from the captain, and a skull shedding a single tear...
It says congratulations, for not showing an ounce of fear,
against the dangers on your quest and all the obstacles to clear.
And though you search for gold that's been lost throughout the years
The treasure wasn't buried, it was locked inside you dear.
