Boris Brejcha - Are You Fucking Serious (UNRELESED)

Dance music superstar Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album Never Stop Dancing, out on 26th November which is also the masked legends Birthday.
  
A twelve-track release, Never Stop Dancing features no fewer than five tracks released as singles across the year. First up is ‘Spicy’, a track that combines driving snares and delicate piano chords with the fleeting vocals of Boris’ real-life partner Ginger. She appears regularly throughout the LP, first on July single ‘Take A Ride’, a meticulously refined techno cut centred around euphoric breakdowns and a pulsating bassline, then on the impulsive, rhythmic techno of the title track, Boris’ most recent single.
Further singles come in the form of ‘House Music’, a collaboration with London pop trio Arctic Lake that pairs feelgood melodies with high-pitched vocals, and ‘Twisted Reality’, which features the kind of euphoric breakdowns only the German maestro could pull off.
Elsewhere, Ginger’s vocoder vocals return amidst the haunting, brooding synths of ‘State Of Mind’ and the potent, trance-inspired big room energy of ‘Underworld’, before the steady kick drum thumps and emotional breakdowns ensure Never Stop Dancing closes out on a moving note.
One of the hardest working artists in the electronic sphere, Boris has already released three EPs this year, ‘Vodka & Orange’, ‘Matrix’ and ‘EXIT’, while in 2020 he dropped acclaimed album Space Diver.
Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of Monster and Yellow Kitchen back in 2006, Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ‘High-Tech Minimal’.
A diverse, dancefloor-focused collection of tracks, Never Stop Dancing is the work of an artist who continues to challenge himself with every release.

Calling an EP “Devil” although it will most certainly conjure a smile on the face of any elctronic music enthusiast might come as a surprise, or even cause confusion. 
But let’s be fucking serious, when Boris Brejcha picked this title, he had probably no evil thoughts in mind but was rather daydreaming of one of his many shows that are known to turn any club into a diabolically hot sweat lodge due to the energetic atmosphere and ecstatic crows. 
So in the end you could arque that the title of his new EP seems long overdue. 

The name giving A-Side comes as clean and to the point as we know it from Boris Brejcha.
A rolling beat that never looks back but marches forward, driven by pure energy and nifty as hell. 
Let the speaking devil suck you into this dark piece of High-Tech Minimal and join the ride for almost the minutes. 

Right from the start “The Darkest Night” reveals an even groovier drive that makes it sound unstoppable. Furthermore the track turns out to be an emotional rollercoaster in the form of a roaring and intimidating fanfare that fades in and out before a catchy melody line spreads a thoughtful and intimate atmosphere. This B-side will definitely make you want to go for another round…and another round…

Last but not least this “devilish” EP will end “In The Middle Of Nowhere”. But unlike the name implies, Boris Brejcha is taking you right to his musical epicenter. 
Expect one of Boris’ most multifaceted tracks that prove why his career continues to skyrocket.

Boris Brejcha's "Purple Noise" has been one of his most popular and successful tracks ever and if this doesn't pant for more then what does?
So months later into some serious thought process and thanks to the incredible collaboration with fellow artists such as WorakIs, Moritz Hofbauer and Ann Clue we are proud to finally share this massive remix EP with you.

The first jaw-dropping moment during this project was when we received WorakIs interpretation of "Purple Noise". Let's go out on a limb here for a second and call his remix "anthem of 2021" which actually doesn't seem so far-fetched once you've listened to this journey yourselves. WorakIs certainly takes electronic music storytelling to whole nother level with this dramatic and incredibly powerful sound experience. 

Moritz Hofbauer continues with a wonderful rollercoaster ride through atmospheric vastnessnes coupled with gripping percussions and a bold bassline. It's the impressive diversity of this remix which makes it stand out so much.

Ann Clue, a long-time companion of Boris worked some real magic with her approach to "Purple Noise". While she allows the tender lead melody to float through a wide space of peace and harmony she still trusts in her uncompromising knack for propulsive percussive elements. 

Last but not least the maestro himself sat down to give his masterpiece a new paint. The outcome is a 2021 edit which is another reminder of why Boris Brejcha has become such a driving creative force in the music business over the last couple of years. Furthermore it's this kind of dedication to music which allows us to look forward into the future optimistically.
