Twelve releases and a hefty load of aid to families across the African continent later, Lost on You - the first and only record label to give 100% of its profits to charity - is still knocking out the bombs, recently ranking amongst the top 38 of Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno labels. It’s Brigado Crew & Crisstiano who bring the boom boom boom on Lost on You’s latest release, a high-fidelity offering of oscillator
explorations designed for sunrise at the after party.

Opening track ‘Burning' features the haunting vocal whispers of Haptic - a first for the usually
instrumental club banger repertoire of LoY - and it works to soul-stirring effect. Haptic meanders through dark synthesised passages, his early 80s purring endowing the song with an electro feel, cutting through the silence and ushering in alleys of purple light from all directions. A big warm-up track.

Track two, ‘Rebellion' brings a Nico Jaar-esque wandering into play, as a cat smirks and strolls down the sidewalk. Juicy, bouncy and irrepressibly contagious, ‘Rebellion’ is a chugger, a one-punch slugger that keeps getting back up for more. This is real head-spinning tech house for the space-out-and-forget crew.

Track three is the eponymous ‘Elephants’, a safari-tinged adventure into the places where great beasts play. But what starts as a casual expedition soon devolves into madness as the mammalian world takes on a life of its own, Elephantine tribes encircle the only exits, and you give yourself up to nature.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there’s a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be. Remember, every download goes towards helping make the world that bit less miserable. And with four stompers like this on the menu, what are you really waiting for?

'Returning to Sprout is the amazing Marcus Meinhardt with Rabbit Hole featuring a classy remix from Stereo Express. 

Ever the musical butterfly, Meinhardt makes music that defies genre classification and oozes sophistication. Signed to a disparate array of labels from Kittball to Micro.Fon, he's always in the boxes of the big ticket DJs and never fails to impress. 'Rabbit Hole' opens in fine form with sparse percussion and a bubbling bass line making way for intricate melodic patterns. Growing organically tension builds towards the break with Vangelis-like layers of synthwork adding a futuristic 80s feel. On the remix, Stereo Express take it deeper teasing out the main motifs over two breaks which develops into a monster mid-set groover.'

The A-side - 'Hailstorm' - is a mystical and atmospheric ride through the trancelike state of mind. Captivating, intoxicating, patient... the track brings forward tons of attributes and associations thanks to its complexity and depth.

With 'Sunday Aftermath' Theydream lives up to the huge reputation but also expectations that come with success. The second release on Mirror Records shows perfectly that to find talent you don't have to be looking far away. Sometimes the best is just around the corner waiting to be discovered - like Monsieur Pluspetit! We are more than happy to welcome this talented artist from our hometown to the family. For his Waking Dream EP he produced three Original tracks. The first one, Never Tired, was made in a collaboration with the street artist Nanou and consists of a dreamy build up, driving high hats and beautiful vocals parts. The title track Waking Dream is also quite dreamy but with more drive and groove. Creating a catchy vibe and instant goosebumps! The last original Track however futures a hypnotiyque melody and is pretty straight forward - completing the EP with a true dance floor monster. To finish off the EP we found two very unique remixers to work on Waking Dream. First of all we have Haze-M, who put the track in a spacey direction and turned the melody around to create a very exciting remix and on the other hand we have Shosho who created a more minimalistic and playful version of the track. It's a pleasure to have both of them on the imprint!
