I’ve always had a love for music; But it wasn’t until I felt the atmosphere of a Cream night in Liverpool that I discovered the energy & expression within; it wasn’t until I started experimenting with music that I realised I wanted to entertain...

From listening to my first bootlegged zone mix-tape in the early nineties, I was extremely curious to know what it would be like to be part of this Rave culture; either to be part of the crowd, or even unlikely, a DJ! At the very least I just wanted to be part of this unique atmosphere that had me longing for more and more.

One summer night in 1997, I couldn’t believe my ears. I was listening to an episode of the Essential Mix on Radio One and there was this fantastic music ringing around my head. BT was the track playing, its title, Flaming June... I had discovered the beginnings of Dance Music and a new ‘obsession’ in me was born!

In a short space of time I became the bedroom master of mixing, I created many a mix-tape for friends and even had the fortitude to send one in to Radio 1. Just as I finished my A-levels, I got my first taste of the big time, relatively speaking of course! When the local club (The Park) was short of a DJ I was asked to step up, and although the crowd was not particularly big, or interested in hearing just dance music, I received a very positive vibe from the crowd. Following this, I played a series of sets @ the Whitehouse, The Park, Fusion, Elliots, The Old Hall, Club Chameleon and The Wave, I was asked to stay on as resident DJ @ the Whitehouse and The Park, I spent the next couple of years building my knowledge and understanding of how the dancefloor works, I have only great respect and admiration for all my mentors.

I got my big break (if you can call it that) when he was hired by the Liquid Night club brand, to cover their DJ’s when they were off, travelling around the Uk I grew a sort of name for myself as a fresh faced pop/house/dance DJ, from here I was hired to DJ in various Tiger Tiger clubs, I was then hired by Mood and became resident DJ from them in Carlisle, after doing 6 months there, I was asked to become resident DJ at for a new club complex opening in Carlisle called Terminal One.

In addition to club DJing, I have worked for various radio stations throughout the Uk from the BBC to various local radio stations, I currently present the Dance Anthems show on St Bees Rafio, Saturdays 6pm-8pm.
