    Same-octave doubling
    Pedal Harmony
    Then, a fifth below

    Next:
    Melody/third/fifth below harmony
    joined by a lead with a mix of:
    Emphatic (emphasising the emotive lyrics)
    Counter point (contrary to the melody)
    and Heterophony (not rigid to the original timing).

As he sings and dances, he calls in the people until all are gathered at the fire.

Tom E Lewis first learned it when travelling with his father Gadjimarra George. Melanie Shanahan arranged it like this.

Solstice Snow Song

Originally from Cameroon, where Mbele Mama means "Call Mama", it was a party song for calling your Mama out to party with you. 
It was shared in the Torres Strait Islands (possibly by a missionary) and taught at a gathering.
An Australian woman heard the song there, where it was interpreted as "Beautiful Earth",  brought it back home and taught it as a Torres Strait song! It also landed in several other countries. 
In Swahili, Mbele Mama means–"Long time ago, mama",  
in Italian it means "Beautiful mother".
Whatever it means, I hope it brings joy to you.
