UK producers Toyboy & Robin have come a long way since meeting in at university in Manchester six years ago and have since been signed to Chase & Status’ burgeoning imprint https://soundcloud.com/mtarecords, who this year celebrate their 5th birthday. With signings including Josh Butler, Kove, Dream Mclean, Moko, TCTS, Ben Pearce and the legendary Nero, we can only imagine what the future holds for MTA. Heres to another five years. Happy birthday!

Geboren bin ich mit dem bürgerlichen Namen David Richter alias Dj Ruben 1979 im thüringischen Weimar.

Erste Kontakte mit elektronischer Musik habe ich 1995 gemacht und mich dazu entschlossen im Jahr 2003 das "Auflegen" mittels Turntaples zu erlernen.
Im Verlauf der nächsten Jahre habe ich in und um Weimar auf Technopartys aufgelegt.

2008 bin ich nach Mecklenburg Vorpommern gezogen und   habe das auflegen komplett zurück gestellt.
Musikalisch bin ich ab dann mit der hier weit verbreiteten Psychedelic Goa Trance Musik in Kontakt gekommen und habe mich verliebt was mich letztendlich dazu bewogen hat 2020 wieder mit dem auflegen jedoch nun in digitaler Form zu beginnen.

Nun mixe ich so fröhlich Psychedelic Trance, Goa und Techno vor mich hin und wäre bereit mal auf einer Goa oder Technoparty zu spielen. 😉
