This is Piano in an Empty Room from Vangelis' Blade Runner Trilogy 25th Anniversary album released in 2007.

Vangelis plays it on an acoustic piano with beautiful ambient room noise. I tried to replicate the feeling by boosting the pedal noise on my synth, and I added some pads that get pretty dark and intense towards the end.

The instrument is a Nord Stage 2, using a sampled Steinway grand piano and virtual analog synthesizers controlled with an expression pedal, and a generous amount of reverb.
