August the 5th meet Milan-based artist and producer - Stefano Kosa to deliver his two tracks release to the second imprint of Set About South!

These tracks were born in a different moment of this year. 
 The first one was "Robit" with an intense bassline and a male vocal, solid snare and high bpm rate. For this i was inspired from my recent gigs and for the great reaction of the dancefloor with that tipe of groove so i decide: i wanna do one track with this style ! 

The second track is "Tutumpa" and it is the fusion between my "classic" groove and some summer vibes, a female vocal with nice melody, a vocal loop with the groove and fresh percussions.

Weska is next generation techno megastars, already enjoying massive support from the highest echelons of techno royalty, Adam Beyer not least.
After being featured on Drumcode Radio everything changed for this brilliant Canadian, and support from Eric Prydz, Christian Smith, Bart Skils, Timmo and legendary Sven Väth has quickly followed, as have remixes and releases on Drumcode, Cocoon, Octopus, Suara, Kraftek, Mute, Tronic and Filth On Acid.

“Falling” is the first one out on Tiger Stripes imprint Strange Idols Recordings, which is now on it’s 12th amazing instalment. 

The Original is a high-octane peak time monster with spring loaded kick drum and demonic voices jumping out from the speakers at distortion levels, creating a sinister yet powerful backdrop leading into the melodic break where Weska shows off his enviable skills as a future electronic music producer of great prominence. Merging the anthemic musical elements and angelic voices with the raw unrestrained techno power he possesses, he creates an unstoppable belter of a track rushing towards you at breakneck speed. That combination has become somewhat of a trademark sound for Weska, who continues to impress both as a producer and as a DJ, where his talents are really put on show playing to packed crowds all over the world.

Tiger Stripes takes it one step further by adding an acid-techno bassline and a doomsday sounding kickdrum that will cut through stone. The unmistakable indie-tainted melodies we have learned to love from this Stockholm producer gives the mix a distinct personality, but while he further enhances the melodic elements to make us feel warm and fuzzy inside, at any given moment, without warning, he’s brutally cutting them short, leaving the listener on his toes, waiting, just bracing for impact. For when that soft warm feeling gets an abrupt end, and the brutal kick comes back in, there is just nowhere to hide.

Safe to say these two version will find their respective fans, but more likely both versions will find its way into the sets of many a discerning DJ who would pick up on the subtle yet  obvious differences of the two versions, and choose the right mix for the exact right moment with the sensitive touch of a renaissance painter. The result will be the same, absolute chaos on the dancefloor.
