Arrgituto Ahmed Osman AKA "Da Geets" or other wise known by her friends and family as "Gitu" is an up and coming Bay Area solo artist. She's born and raised in San Francisco ,California and started singing at the age of 17.She writes,sings and dose MOST of the production on her songs with the help of mixing by Producers Tony Jazzo, Joel Tarman, and Ray Sutton. Being the daughter of an Indo-Guyanese mother and an Ethiopian Turkish father Da Geets's genres varies from Electro Funk, Rnb, to International Pop. She's influenced by the sounds of popular artists from the 80's and 90's such as Prince, Micheal/Janet Jackson, Vanity6 as well as some of today's artists like The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake but it doesn't stop there! Her sound is also influenced by Arab singers such as Nancy Ajraam,Carol Samaha, Amir Diab and some traditional/modern Bollywood and Latin American styles of music. She sings in both English and Hindi and makes music to appeal to both American and Eastern audiences.
