Live from Priceless 2022

I was able to get a good recording of one of my sets among the chaos of Burning Man this year. This is a DJ set consisting tracks of my own productions and my favorite artist. I played this one at the Bubble Lounge on Friday Afternoon. Hope you enjoii :)

Live in Cappadocia, Turkey, October 2022. 

This set was recorded on a hot air balloon over 3000ft in the air for a 20 person dance floor. WOW. Absolute peak life moment! This is the maximum height that balloons are allowed to fly. The views were completely otherworldly from up there. This was also one of the first DJ sets of its kind, with a generator powering a full PA sound system in the basket.

Moments like these remind me how magical life can be if you find an outlet for your artistry. 

Huge thanks to Chelsea and Oren at the Exquisite Artist Retreat for making dreams a reality. It was beyond amazing!

Downtempo Hot Air Balloon Set [Live @ 3000ft]

Years ago I would cross dress in my room and DJ, imagining that some day I might come out and someday live a life that felt so unattainable. I had deep fears of losing it all: my friends, my family, a chance at finding love. This weekend I experienced a reality I could have never even imagined, surrounded by extremely talented artists who care for each other, who accept each other and celebrate our weirdness in a container held by a village with a common vision.

I’ve also always had fears of stepping into music/DJing as a more full time thing, it felt so far away and such a risk that could never work out. Since being in the Bay Area I’ve been able to iterate over and over, surrounded by others dedicated to their craft and giving me opportunities to share what I’ve been playing with.

I still have the dream of sharing more with the world, this includes throwing dance events, enabling us to explore the queer parts of ourselves through holding space on dance floors, and getting back into music production to share my messages with the world.

I’m starting a mailing list, and soon a Patreon to help me dedicate more time to releasing mixes, creating music, throwing events and spotlighting all of the amazing musical talent out there in the world. I’d love for you to join me on this journey and contribute where you feel called.

Here is my set from Skinny Kitty Teahouse this year at Burning Man! This was the first set I played at the Burn after 3 years away, and what can I say… we were all sooooo ready!! Skinny Kitty put on a fantastic Thursday night with an incredible fire show from the Illuminaughties and a cracking lineup with Dinga, Christafari, Jbird, Malarkey, Dov1, Kowta Jleon, LittleJohn and Morninglory - what an epic night! 

I was thrilled to be throwing down alongside so much talent, and with so many friends and fam who showed up in force, and on those crazy Voids from Royal Sound and Lighting!
