COEO back on Toy Tonics! The German duo has been part of Toy Tonics since day one. Now they celebrate their return to Toy Tonics with an outstanding EP full of timeless, contemporary house music that also marks their 10th contribution to the label after their first release on the imprint 10 years ago. Their house vibes have been defining the sound of the Toy Tonics label for many years, and still now they regularly play the Toy Tonics events around the world. (The Toy Tonics Jams).

On this new EP one more time the boys dive deep into the Italo & Piano House world, getting more electronic than ever. This EP is 100% in the vibe of now. With great piano chord drops that make everybody scream on the dance floor, with horn and synth melodies that you can sing along after you heard them one time only and with classic house beats that are THE sound of today.

The main title “Nostalgia” is inspired by and a tribute to all the intimate and ecstatic moments they were able to share over the years with music lovers on festivals and in clubs around the world. While the piano house theme on the A1 brings you in that festive mood of your last summer festival you have been to with your closest friends, the second track of the EP „Breeze“ takes it on a higher energetic level and combines a funky bass guitar with progressive house elements. Remember that special moment when you were attending your first full moon party in that far away country after you have finished school? That gentle wind blowing through the trees? „Breeze“ could be the soundtrack of that adventure.

On the B side, Italo house influenced „Meet me at the cascades“ captivates through a hypnotic approach and unfolds dreamy synth pads and arpeggios to take you on an imaginary journey to your favorite retreat, a place you feel safe.

The EP features 3 original tracks and also a remix by COEO friends Stump Valley. The former Dekmantel artists who now joined Toy Tonics. Stump Valley btw are Francesco and Aleksei. Aleksei also works under the name of Brian de Palma and will release a solo album soon on Peggy Gou’s label Gudu. Stump Valley‘s remix of „Nostalgia“ rounds up the EP with its stand out piano solo and marks the perfect end to an EP that is meant to stay in your head, just like all those intense memories which life in general evokes.

Wonderland is a whirlwind ride through dance music as heard through ABSOLUTE.’s ears: emotive house, hard-edged techno, divine disco, and euphoric rave bring the party, while more cerebral downtempo and textural ambient tracks wind things down. It’s party music for a time without parties, all shot through with McGinley’s message of hope and equality for all.  
 
Speaking on the Mixtape, ABSOLUTE. explains: “Writing this album brought me back to life, I was writing music that helped me feel certain ways, freedom and connectedness to something I and many others were missing, longing hard to be around people, or needing a dose of raw euphoric rave energy which gave some release at the sheer desperation to dance and feel joy. Even if just for a short time, to feel transported to 90’s UK raves or New York’s underground gave me some life, and I hope it does for you too. Welcome to Wonderland…” 
 
The mixtape album came to fruition as a result of the recent lockdown where ABSOLUTE., and the rest of the world, was forced to a standstill. Anthony was determined to turn his frustration into art and participated in a creative workshop that helped open his mind to new ideas, taking his music in exciting directions. The title of the mixtape takes its name from Wonderland Arena, a now obsolete rave space in East London that played host to live performances from the likes of Frankie Knuckles, The Prodigy, and Carl Cox during the halcyon days of acid house and early rave, and that is now converted into apartments where Anthony currently lives and works. 
 
ABSOLUTE. Is a project that has steadily gained momentum over the last couple of years, deftly choosing the right path for long term success rather than quick gains. Coming from the vibrant LGBTQ+ club and rave space where he promoted influential events in London, Anthony wanted to make sure foundations were solid before making the break into the live arena with this incredible body of work. He’s DJed at a wide array of parties and festivals from Glastonbury and Creamfields to Fabric and Razzmatazz but performing live has always been the goal. As lockdown came into effect he was packing his equipment to go on the road supporting dance legends 808 State on a 10 date UK tour.  
 
Despite a total shutdown of the live sector during the pandemic, Anthony still managed to perform his debut live set for Radio 1’s virtual Ibiza weekend during the summer and has just announced a headline live show at Islington’s assembly for March next year in partnership with underground gatekeepers Percolate. 
 
Alongside his musical accomplishments, Anthony is a passionate activist for human rights and has a longstanding track record of work supporting issues including climate, race, and LGBTQ+ justice. After attending the first Extinction Rebellion action in London, McGinley wrote “Rave Against the Machine”, a track that sampled a speech by Greta Thunberg which resulted in XR later inviting him to programme the music line-up of their International Rebellion at Trafalgar Square, while at Glastonbury, he played at Greenpeace’s Rave Tree.

Da Sunlounge, based in the Midlands UK, began DJ’ing in the deep house scene over 20 years ago. In the early days of his career, he co-hosted the successful Travelling Without Moving night and shared the 1210s on many occasions with the likes of Terry Francis, Clive Henry (Peace Division), Andy Wetherall, Rob Mello, Atjazz, Digs’n’Woosh, Rocky, Elliot Eastwick, Fred Everything, A Man Called Adam, House of 909, the DIY DJ’s plus many more.

In 2000, he played out a dub plate of one of his first productions. The guest DJ, Clive Henry (Peace Division) immediately signed it to his label, Low Pressings. Later that year, Da Sunlounge followed it up with a second release on Low Pressings, which was played by Danny Rampling to open his Radio 1 show live from Ibiza.
Shortly after, Da Sunlounge was head hunted by Canadian label 83 West to release on their sub-label Camouflage recordings. Alongside the likes of H-Foundation, DJ Sneak, Peace Division, Gene Farris, Stacy Kidd, and DJ Rasoul.
As his career progressed, Da Sunlounge went on to release on numerous labels including, Cajual, King Street, Defected, Mother Recordings, 2020 Vision, OM, Salted Music, Outcross, and remixing artists such as Mood II Swing , Crazy P & Roland Clark, and more recently Miguel Campbell & Sonny Fodera.
His music also found its way on to front cover mounts such as Mixmag, and compilation CDs by Fabric, Defected, Ministry of Sound, Mn2S, NRK and Hed Kandi.

In 2001, his own label Myna Music was launched, gaining support from a wide array of DJs around
the globe and picking up plays on leading radio stations such as Radio 1. Myna has remained strong over the years and reached it’s 15th year anniversary in 2016 with a back catalogue of over 60 releases. In 2005, Da Sunlounge launched his second label, Bambino Recordings.
In 2008 he joined forces with Andy Riley (Inland Knights) to launch the Borrowed Music label.

The success of Da Sunlounge’s productions subsequently led to a busy international DJ schedule, playing at some outstanding events. To name a few memorable ones...
- DJ’ing at the top of Sugarloaf Mountain in Brazil
- Boat party around Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge
- Playground Weekender in Australia on the same bill as Laurent Garnier
- Pacha, Dubai on the same bill as Dimitri from Paris
- DJ’ing within a castle grounds in Bratislava
- Playing huge beach parties to 1000s in Eastern Europe
- At home in the UK, at the world renowned Fabric, Abode & Hot Bed events in London.

Over the past two decades, DJ’ing has taken him to the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Dubai, South Africa, Serbia, Spain, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Georgia, Croatia, Turkey, Slovakia, Poland, Denmark, Latvia, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and of course all over the UK.

2019 still sees Da Sunlounge holding his own, with chart topping tracks on Beatport & Traxsource, and gaining a place in the Traxsource top 100 Artist's and best selling tracks of 2015/2016/2017/2018.
