The announcement arrives with the release of new single, ‘LIGHTNING’ ft. REDD., a perfect follow-up to recent singles ‘PEACEKEEPER’ and ‘FREAK OUT ft. Briggs & Haiku Hands’. 
 
Following the acclaim of his 5 x ARIA Award-winning debut album Gela, including Album Of The Year,  DJANDJAY is Baker Boy’s most emotionally layered and creatively evolved work yet. Rooted in culture and shaped by personal growth, the new album is a powerful statement of resilience, identity, and transformation. Where Gela introduced the artist, DJANDJAY reveals Danzal the man: grounded, complex, and unafraid to speak his truth.
 
Named after his late grandmother, DJANDJAY also draws on the Yolŋu spiritual figure of the same name: a guiding octopus spirit that leads souls forward. That dual legacy flows through the record, which fuses ancestral influences with cutting-edge global production.
