'Stylistically and compositionally a relatively minimal affair, I’ve attempted to proactively embrace a “less is more” approach to some of my productions recently. I was also keen to create something that sounded acidy without employing the usual tropes. I maxed out at five channels which include a drum track, hardware synth, a couple of software synths and effects, and tried to focus on continually manipulating the main acid bass hook in order to create a sense of subtle but uneasy progress and development throughout."
