Guardians of Dub is Dactah Chando latest work – his seventh studio album published by the record label Achinech Productions. This is the canarian singer and producer’s first Dub album and will be released in May 2019 in digital format on all main music distribution platforms.

This album features nine Dub versions remixed by sound engineer and Umberto Echo, responsible for the production and mixing of «Ansestral» y «Global Cityzen», Dactah Chando’s fourth and sixth album, and also known for producing numerous recording bands and international artists renown in the reggae culture.

This album includes songs from the Canary artist’s complete discography (2011 – 2018) – unpublished versions and arrangements – which he recorded with the participation of the best musicians and producers from the European reggae scene, such as Guido Craveiro, Roberto Sánchez, Toby Nambur and Genis Trani.  

Iconic songs from Dactah Chando’s repertoire – «Clara», «Natty» or «Alto Grado», among others – have been remixed and endowed with a new elegant atmosphere by Munich’s Dub Master, and mastered by another big name in the European dub reggae scene, Dieter Pimiskern – who had already mastered some of the artist’s work in the past.

The launch of Guardians of Dub will be in digital format and will later be published in vinyl in a special edition at the end of 2019.

“XXI” es un álbum compuesto durante el confinamiento,
donde el canario vuelve a su estilo preferido, el reggae
roots, con composiciones propias y producción del
mismo Chando. Grabado en Berlín durante una parada en el tour de otoño de 2018, en los estudios Planet Earth con la participación de Frank Pollensi a los teclados, Toby Nambur a la batería, Florian Stahl a las guitarras y el mismo Chando al bajo.
Ocho cortes compuesto por cuatro nuevas canciones y sus correspondientes versiones dub a cargo de Umberto Echo, productor e ingeniero que ha colaborado en gran parte de la discografía de Chando.
Letras intimistas y alentadoras que surgen de la situación especial por la que pasa todo el mundo en estos momentos. Cantos a la reflexión, a la humanidad, a las ganas de salir adelante y seguir con los propósitos, las metas, la esperanza.

Bio:
Dactah Chando is by far one of the most interesting and prolific reggae singers of spanish language reggae. 
He is the Rasta Poet from Tenerife, Canary Islands. With a large music experience, Chando´s been involved in reggae since 20 years in different projects, from being a drummer, producing, singer, promoter, and in 2011 was the jump to an international level with the release of the first album: "Clara", produced by Guido Craveiro. After this release Chando enter the european reggae scene performing in some of the best reggae festivals in the continent.

With the next albums Chando have the opportunity to work with other great producers like: Roberto Sanchez, Rob Smith, Umberto Echo,..having another three different style albums like: "Sabiduria - 2013", "Sabiduria Roots - 2014",
