.. that time we attempted to throw a covid-rule-abiding micro festival on the water, on boats and SUP's. it seems some people on the bridge thought we were having too much fun, and called us in. the men in uniform didn't think we were doing anything wrong but made us understandd it didn't create a feel-good sentiment for all either. 
it gave us all a lot to think about.. the shame of having fun when other white people struggle, while two months ago it was no problem (despite many more dying and suffering elsewhere).. and the complexity of feelings around solidarity, relief, togetherness, envy, playfulness, shame, and so on and so forth.
.. it was still worth the short-lived bliss reminding of better times, with a recording to relive it. 😘
