Daddy was a Leprechaun ist eine Irish Folk Band aus Geislingen an der Steige. Der ursprüngliche Name war "Zu (Z)weit", da sich die Band aber weg von den eigenen Liedern mit deutschen Texten orientiert hat wurde der Name 2014 geändert. DWAL spielen sowohl Irish als auch Scottish Folksongs. Hinzu kommen Cover von bekannten Bands wie Dropkick Murphy und Flogging Molly. Das große Spektrum an verschieden Instrumenten bietet eine vielzahl an Klängen in den Liedern. Die Instrumente sind Gitarre, Bodhràn, Geige, Tin Whistle und seit kurzem auch ein Banjo.
