I'm the seed that sprouted Dub Island Soundsystem and The Dubplates. We live in Chalicetown. My brothers and I have performed with everyone from Digital Underground to Damian Marley. We've played in Waterhouse, Kingston, JA. We've played on Sir Richard Branson's Neckar Island. We have sound clashed in Dirty South road side clubs. We've played SXSW. Last night we were in our RV trading ideas with Beenie Man. In 2006 we did a showcase for Interscope by invitation in Santa Monica. They bought T-shirts but had no idea what to do with a dancehall producing white boy from Minnesota who sounds like Buju Banton (me). Do you?
