My version of Magic Man is an homage to Herb Alpert's own remake on the Colors album he had recorded with Doug Wimbish and Will Calhoun.  I attempt to musically quote and do justice to their last visit with this track while adding my touch.
This was inspired by Andrew Mamaliga who also played percussion on my remake.
I play Trumpet, Keys, Guitar, drum loops/samples, and produce.

Jon's original music and cover tunage.  I just started this and will upload more later.  :)

Profile pic: My 8yr old son had noticed me trying to save money via a small cup full of change. On his own, he picked out and bought me a new jar as a Christmas gift that read "Dad's Spare Change" on it with a big cork on top.  I love it!   
I suddenly thought it could make a cool title for a song, album, or even a band name.  In any case, I'm using it for this profile for now.
