Artists Heiko Tippelt and Philipp Hirsch founded the avant-garde pop project “Daenkritz” in the year 2000 for the development of the scores of experimental films “in” (vimeo.com/5743276) and “inside” (youtube.com/watch?v=2G2B8i9GVXQ). In their strictly formalistic approach they rejected the use of acoustical or electronical instruments, focussing on the use of organically altered foley sounds to dissolve the traditional separation of scenical and musical film scoring.
These ideas were transformed in the record “Daenkritz” in 2004, a disturbingly-appealing pop record which is built on an artificial language and mythology. The record was never released to the public due to a loss of the master tapes, but found its way to video and installation artist Robert Seidel (www.robertseidel.com) who immediately feel in love with it and commissioned the soundtrack for his award-winning film _grau (http://vimeo.com/2669327). The dramatic and abstract imagery was extended with an orchestral epic score rooting in the concept of cluster sounds of new music composers like Varèse and Ligeti. 
Under the pseudonym “film-m” (www.film-m.de) they also produced the record “Gloria”, pushing the metal band “Disillusion” (www.disillusion.de) into a more abstract sphere. Heiko Tippelt later founded the orchestral pop band “Men&King” (with singer Sebastian Vogler and artist Lars Nagler) (www.menandking.com) in 2008 and was co-developing the audio-visual performance “meander” (vimeo.com/16878611) joining forces with Robert Seidel for a premiere in the Museum of Image and Sound in Sao Paulo in 2010. 
E Byrg, E Lorki and Jelle from 2004 are the first time available publically, soon to be followed by the completely restored record “Daenkritz”.
