This is a remix of the theme from the new Ethersea campaign from The Adventure Zone by The McElroy Brothers, using the arrangement by Allison Simpkins as a template to build on. Really thankful for the work of Griffin McElroy and fans with great ear training.

Griffin did an amazing job with the Ethersea theme, and I wanted to put some more time in FL Studio.

I used some sounds ripped from Metroid for adding to the melody. Kind of pulling from some lo-fi, some hip hop, Final Fantasy/JRPG for sound that I went with, but felt that the structure of the song should be like the original.

This is my acoustic cover of the song Lucretia by Griffin McElroy, composed for and debuted on Episode 66 of the podcast The Adventure Zone. He has his own soundcloud page full of great music, go check it out! 
A pleasant side effect of making this cover is that I no longer instantly cry when I hear this song. Griffin, what did I do to deserve this?

Taz Nights Theme (Cover)

This track is from the second incarnation of Nintendium-118, a collaborative chiptune compo hosted by the PSG Cabal themed around the elements. Each entrant was randomly assigned an element from the periodic table, and had to create a chiptune track based around it. This year's release features a healthy mixture of newcomers and alumni from Volume 1, leading to a compo that is familiar, yet also refreshingly novel.

"This one is based around Hydrogen. Hydrogen is extremely flammable, and we used to use it to fly around in giant lead zeppelins. Naturally, I thought of the album cover to a good album - Led Zeppelin I - which featured a picture of the Hindenburg on it. The Hindenburg was destroyed by a hydrogen fire. Thus, I knew I had to channel my inner Jimmy Page and try to make a theatrical, bluesy thing. It ended up being Jazzy too, and the Hindenburg was destroyed in the 30's, so hey, it works."
