Born and raised Up Under The Hill (UUTH), by way of Victoria, Texas, Da Ghost gravitated to the street life at the young age of 11. Those influences can be heard throughout his music, which he uses to tell the stories of his upbringing. In his music, he memorializes his fallen friends Raydon “Nippy” Alexander and James “Flex” Bennett, and speaks of a time where he called the shots from Bottom to Second Street. Da Ghost credits his love of hip hop music to 8ball&MJG, UGK, Street Military, and none other than Tupac Amaru Shakur, but it was local artist Ricochett of Detronomy who sparked his interest in becoming a musician and rapper. 
In 2003,  Da Ghost, along with Squeezy, M-20, Versus Gallardo, Ralo Da Great, Roxxie, TT, Big Bank Bede, Fame Johnson, Z.I.-Double, Ricky and Schara came together to form the now infamous Double U Records. The hood classic, Blood Sweat and Sour Tears by Ralo Da Great and Z.I.-Double sparked the movement, and was the first mention of Double U. In 2003, under Double U Records, Da Ghost was featured on the underground albums; Reppin’ for Texas, Revealin' The Streets of Vic, Texas 7, and Fame & Glory. He has collaborated with Noke D of Wreckshop, Babs Bunny of Bad Boy, Big Pokey and Lil C The Underboss of SUC. 
In 2004, Da Ghost and Double U Records released the 2UU4 compilation album. A short four months later, his climb up the musical ladder was cut short by his subsequent incarceration. Da Ghost spent 11 long years honing on his craft and expressing his love for his city through his lyrics and music. 
In September 2015, he was released from federal prison, with a message and a motive.  Along with Corey Millionz of Millionz and More Entertainment, he started Grime Fashions. He is also CO-CEO of Street Savvy Urbanwear and CEO of Double U Entertainment. 
Da Ghost plans to reunite with his original Double U family and create a movement of solidarity in the rap game, often referred to as Double U Reloaded.
