Originally from Inner Mongolia, Deng Boyu has been active in the Chinese music underground since the late 1990s. His work spans numerous genres, as a drummer, solo electronics artist, improviser and collaborator to many musicians both in and out of China, including Mamer, Lao Dan, Lee Ranaldo, Marc Ribot, Akira Sakata, Theresa Wong and Federico Casagrande. Having hosted two of his releases on our site through the Old Heaven label, we're delighted to present《Inertion》on our in-house OTOroku imprint.

ELEH’s Home Age 2 is packaged in a thick, letterpress printed Arigato Pak by Stumptown Printers in Portland, Oregon.  Each package contains an individual piece of art (linocut/screenprint/watercolor) from the artist.  This is a one time CD edition of 480 copies.

ELEH’s Home Age series was composed and recorded over a period of 5 years and it reflects a search for color, form, connection and growth. The handmade artwork contained in each package was created during the same period of time the music was composed and is an integral part of the meaning of Home Age.

For this release Eleh plays modular & analog synthesizers, piano, organ, bass and symphonic chimes. 

Although Home Age is a 2 part set, Eleh’s upcoming Living Space CD/LP for Touch is very much the conclusion of this era of Eleh.

French composer, mixing chip-instruments with modern sounds. His music is intense and varied, mostly dance-oriented, hard and melodic.
Active members since 2002 of the Paris Hq micromusic he helped to develop the chiptune & low fi electro scene in France by organising concerts and inviting artists who never had the chance to play in Paris. That’s during these shows that he started his first gigs under the pseudo Computer Truck… 
During the same period he was introduced to circuit bending and started using bended toys & synth for his music.
His influence are varied, from retro electropop to breakcore and harsh noize. He describe his music by “riot toy party music”, a music you can dance on and wich evolve to the 80’s c64 sound to “ultime electrogrind music” (which you can only listen during the gigs because his more violent tracks have not yet been released so don’t search on his myspace or webpage…) with uncomprehensible voice on it thanks to his Halloween special fx voice transformer. A music made to unite retarded nerds and crustyPunx.
