For my latest track, and third remix of the summer season, I remixed Nico & Vinz's brilliant "Am I Wrong."  On this one I tried to bring my own touch to the track, while adding some new percussive and orchestral flavors to complement the guitar melodies. “Slowly” was written by taking a step back and realizing everything isn’t what it seems. Friends change, home won’t feel like “home” anymore, and everything just isn’t as exciting. The scariest thing to see change is the one you love the most. Realizing how fast everything can go by, it makes you want to slow down and enjoy them. Savoring every moment of your young love life. It’s important to really grasp what the feelings are because soon this could all feel distant too. This song is about running from the reality of change and time. Hoping they don’t fade like everything else had, taking time to remember it all and love her slowly.
